A day before, when i visitting my cousin in Jakarta, he told me that in Jakarta a teenager which was a baby boomer in technology is very interest when they using Bedd in their Cell phone. Surely, when he gave me a nice article from Kompas about Bedd. After finishing read the newspaper article, I try to browse Bedd developer site using my cell phone, and I get lot of information there for Bedd.
Unlucky, the price for using a GSM Mobile phone GPRS in Indonesia is very high, about Rp.11,- per Kilobyte, when i usually using a CDMA Mobile phone GPRS with a wide Bandwidth and cheap price, about Rp.172,- per Minute, So i try to browse the information in my home in the next day.
When i finishing download Bedd (about 500k), and transferred the SIS file into my phone (Nokia 6600), and Installed it without any problem (IMPORTANT: Bedd Installation need approximately 1 MB of your Space, so convince that your Mobile phone memory is free at least 1,5 MB), Bedd Asking me for entering common personal information, email, my mobile phone number, they automaticaly collect my bluetooth ID number too and also my Mobile IMEI number, and send them into their Database using a regular SMS.
For default, Bedd run automatically when your phone start up, and dont forget to enable your Bluetooth first, before you using Bedd (Most people turn off their bluetooth function when they in the croud of people, because the VIRUS, like caribe, is spread by a bluetooth).
FIRST RUN!
After Bedd send my data to their owned database, I Go into BEDDbios to complete my profile as that is what is seen in other user’s phones in BEDDmates, BEDDtalk and BEDDbuddies. Active Profile allows me to have different profiles at different times, while Bios info is my personal info that i would like for other users to see.
After that, I Go into BEDDbay, I click the left Options soft key and complete the BEDDbay Merchant profile as that is the contact info seen by other users when viewing my ads. Imagine that, I can also begin placing ads for items I would like to buy, sell and trade in My Ads. This Function is very helpfull if you want to begin your promotion or your product to Other people around you.
BEDDmates, after I complete My Ideal. It Create a filter that determines with whom you have a match. Me is who you are and You is who you would like to meet. You can answers to these 10 questions are completely private and are not seen by other users. Only the information written in your BEDDbios and BEDDbay Merchant is seen by other users. You also can go into BEDDings, and then click on Sounds & Alerts, to select ringtones and other settings for each main menu item. So, a personal Sound & allerts will hear if your BEDDmates send you a message or asking for a question. I have try this feature in a Mall but i found less people using Bedd, because i try it not in a Big Mall, and if you are a single or a person who try for looking a mates, i think this feature is very interesting…
You can also view your BEDDmates picture, if he or she had a picture available with BEDDpic feature, and then the basic important thing, you can also talk to your BEDDmates using a BEDDtalk when Bedd found a bluetooth enable phone or device in range, Broadcast a mass message using a BEDDcast message, and send a FREE text message using BEDDfish to another bluetooth device while in range.
Bedd know that its very important to keep your relationship between you and friend and family, You can add them into your list by BEDDbuddies and they can easily contacted by BEDDtalk, BEDDchat, SMS, MMS, Call or E-mail.
Personalize your BEDD, i think it is not a new thing, that a common phone can do this, using your own wallpaper for Bedd and also changing your Bedd Skin, it is like a THEME in other phone. But the most unique thing is a BEDDshare, this program can share itself to other Mobile Phone using a BEDDshare, by enabling two device, Infrared or Bluetooth, and the Bedd will easily install by using a popup screen in other mobile phone Inbox.
