Currently we use about 150+ mixed server brand in our data center : Supermicro Server, Rainer (Indonesia Brand), IBM, Dell, HP Proliant and some custom made servers
Five main reasons about the server we need :
1.Reliability
2.Durability
3.Compatibility between board and other peripheral, like Memory, Harddisk
4.After sales service
5.Easy to replaceyes, we don’t want to use servers that cannot use generic peripheral, because we need to replace a failure component for at least 2 hours promises to customer, and at least 15 minutes in internal standard. pretty hard huh!
